Guess what. Media obsessed robots are here too. They should be showing up any time now.

I think it’s pretty good in term of the speech only. However, the material is not 100 % true. Some are true, but some are undisclosed. Especially about how to finance the health care reform. There is no way that you would not add a dime into federal deficit. Also, the shouting of “You Lie” is very disrespectful because it’s a presidential speech on a national broadcasting.

Very good motivational speech With just enough threat that said, its coming and you representatives better be prepared to vote the Bill up or down. Enough lies, scaring people with falsehoods, etc:. The voters back home want this Bill and they want to know how you voted. Even those southern dogs better believe or they can say I served one term in Congress..

    Generally positive.

I’m right with the President in that I prefer a public option — but that it’s a very small part of this plan — and I’d be willing to consider alternatives.

We desperately need universal coverage because we’re all paying for it… America spends 17% of GDP on health care. No one else comes close. Yet – despite this – we lag behind other nations badly on macro numbers like infant mortality and life expectancy, and while we perform better on things like disease survival rates — when you spend the most, you ought to be blowing everyone else out of the water.

I think his plan does the best reasonable job of trying to fill in the cracks, puts some much needed checks and balances on the insurance industry, but goes slow and small enough that, as he said last night — we’re keeping what works and trying to fix what doesn’t.

I’m left of center, but more center left than left-left… It’s not that I would oppose a single payer system – I’d probably support one – but with something so broke as our health care system, it’s best to take it slow and tinker as we need to. I think the plan goes a long way towards accomplishing that with as little risk as possible.

it was a typical Obama speech, full of empty promises and rhetoric.
